mid years is finally over

actually its not, but i don't count chinese as an exam. i think i'm just going there waste my time and my pen ink. so far i think all the papers that i had were rather ok. ok as in i think i wont end up having SUSU. hopefully i would pass all the subject but i'm not so confident about that as i was smoking my way through papers such as geo and econs. honestly 3 hours for subjects like econs and geo are way too muct time man. its good cause i have more time to finish writing my answer but on the other hand, my hand was dying after the paper from all the writing. what made it worst was that i have sweaty palms, so the pen kept slipping away from my grip and also the sweat on my palm caused some of my answer to be smudged as well. oh well, at least i'm finally over with it.

halfway through geo paper yesterday i could not help but to chuckle whenever i turn to my right only to see edwin stoning there. freak sia, he was scanning through the lecture theatre to see who else was stoning as well, haha. oh well i think mid years more or less is screwed.

on a seperate note, hansen and i went to thaddeus's wake on tues evening. the group of us agreed to meet at serangoon mrt and dressed in any cat high related clothes cause we will be going down as team CH. as we made our way towards his place (walking), the mood among us went from being rowdy (we were walking on the street as if we got pay road tax and own the place) to being very solemn the moment we saw the white tentage structure outside his house. as we walked nearer towards his house, some of the guys whom had reached there earlier in the afternoon were practically stoning and seating around the table outside the house. their stoning was not edwin's kind of stoning but it was more of a depressing stoning. we went into the house after writing our messages in the condolences book; he was rested in a white coffin and he seemed to be at peace. the pair sunglasses which i almost always saw him wore was rested on his chest. all this while im sure everyone there was in depressed state as i saw some of my friends tearing up. i still can't believe his gone just like that man; exactly one week ago he might be somewhere happily eating prata and now his body is cremated in mandai crematorium. hansen and i weren't able to attend the cremation session yesterday as our paper ended too late, its such a pity that we could not bid farewell to him for the last time. my friend, nicholas tan, who went to the cremation session messaged me this after it ended: That's it, its over.
damn
